One to Another

"One to Another" (2006, 93 min.)

    Even though this is based on a true story, the way it was put together was confusing.  There were many flash backs and the main four male characters all looked similar.  You also had to read subtitles.  They made an attempt to make it a drama and a mystery but did not succeed in either case.  The sex scenes were spread throughout the movie but were very short and we didn't get to see much.  If you like seeing limp penis, this film is for you.  It also ended with and unresolved cliffhanger, which we both hated.

Conan the Barbarian

     All right, we know this is not a "Gay Film" but it will sure attract a gay following.  This film features Jason Momoa.  Known for his time on "Baywatch" and "Stargate Atlantis", Jason sure had the look needed for the part.  "Conan" is a remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie from 1982.  The character of Conan is a man of few words and the dialogue was pretty bad.  We know that Jason can act so we blame the writers.  To tell the truth, we didn't go to see this for the story line.  Jason's ass in 3D, now that's a reason to go.  There wasn't as much nudity as we would like (to many female breasts).  There was one great scene with Jason when Conan was making love to a woman and we get to see his ass. I Love You Phillip Morris

  

     I  Love You Phillip Morris (2009 R 98 min.)  This stars Jim Carrey and Ewan McGreor.  This is based on a true story, as you flow the life of Steven Russell (Jim Carrey).  Although there are a few sex scenes in the movie they are not worth watching, or talking about.   This is a comedy that makes you laugh and cry, as well makes you think about life, love, and happiness.

The Fluffer

The Fluffer (2001, 89 minutes) was a total let down.  The movie seemed to focus on the infatuation of Sean, the fluffer, toward Johnny Rebel, the porn star.  The film tried to hard to be an Indi Classic but failed, a Drama but failed and a Porn Film but failed.  The sex scenes, if you can call them that, were unmemorable and disappointing.

ShortBus

 
     "ShortBus" is a great gay film.  The story line is a little strange but keeps your interest.  The main idea behind the film is sexually discovery.  Each character, while trying to find themselves, end up in a New York home where every sexual experience can be found.  This story is based on a true story.  Now for the sex.  In this film the sexual scenes run throughout.  It is hard to pick one out but we will describe our favorites.  In one of the scenes we meet James who is filming himself masturbating.  He is also being watched by his neighbor.  This brings out our voyeuristic nature.  He finishes but eating his own cum.  It was a shock to see this in a film that is not xXx rated.  It was amazing!  Another scene involved the characters watching a full fledged orgy.  We had to watch the scene a few times to catch everything.

David's Birthday

     This week we are starting with "David's Birthday".  David, played by Thyago Alves, is a underwear model who came to his family's summer villa in Italy.  That being said, lets talk about the gay parts of the  movie.  There are two scene's you'll want to watch more than once. The first is David masturbating in his bedroom. This real life model has an amazing body.  He looks in the mirror at his chiseled abs.  When he walks away from the mirror, showing his wonderful butt, it cuts to him laying on his bed.  His heavy breathing and shuttering body stayed with us for weeks after seeing the film.  You can skip the movie entirely and just watch this scene on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwB2Z84ImRs .  The second sexual scene happened at the end of the film.  The main character Matteo, played by Massimo Poggio, finally gets what he wants.  He and David finally make love in the hose after everyone has left.  The only problem with this scene is, as soon as we start to get into the sexual drive of it, a tragic event happens.  This movie runs rather slow with a few pointless scenes and you have to read subtitles but the sex scenes more than make up for it.
